The coffee deserves a 5 star but sadly the air con interior is missing the luxuries of a homely place to relax and enjoy, pity because the coffee is truly a pleasure. I ordered the large latte, cost 80 baht or $2.70

I'll preface this review by saying i am EXTREMELY fussy (passionate!) about my coffee - wherever i travel the first thing i do is seek out a decent coffee. Ive been in Chiang Mai for about 4 weeks now and spent quite a lot of time checking out coffee place. Ristr8o coffee shop seems to get good reviews on tripadvisor,...

They take their coffee seriously! A large latte is actually that and better than most places in town. Not a lot of seating but very intimate and it smells great inside. Owners are super nice to deal with too.
Decent coffee, friendly owners. Don't go expecting to eat as its not trying to be a restaurant, but if you want really good coffee and a nice little garden area to sit and relax in the middle of the city.
This is not a restaurant...but a coffee shop.It would be nice if Tripadvisor would separate the two,as regards the reviews. It was towards the end of out stay that we went to Ponganes Espresso, taking a tuk tuk.The driver missed soi 5,and we went up another soi and had to come back DOWN soi 5.From this route the coffee shop is...

Ponganes....the combination of two amazing people, Pong and Nes, won both my wife and I's heart. It is a small place, but one that is quality oriented. From the equipment to the beans and the whole process in between. After getting into a conversation with the two of them, something easily and naturally achieved, it is hard to see why...

I've been there for artisan coffee testing. It's a tiny space hidden in the alley on Moon Muang Rd. Hot latte which beans are delivered from Praow - another district of Chiang Mai is mild. I like their latte's flavour. Some conversation with the owners was more impressive.
Pong's experience as a barista in Australia really shows. The coffee at Ponganes is lovingly made and shows an intimate knowledge of the whole process. Talking to Pong you can tell he is passionate about what he does.
Inside, the shop itself is small, with room for maybe 8 people to sit at any one time, but it is air...

A hole in the wall with exceptionally good coffee. Why go to Starbucks or Black Canyon when for less you get really great coffee.
I often come in this coffe shop. Coffe is good (it is possible to find better in Chiang Mai but it is not so bad). The place as a good atmosphere and it is a good option to have good time with friends. I tried the breackfast one time and I enjoyed it!
