Well this place has been opened for a while and we were recommended by friends who used to have good experience there for lunch. We came to try for a small group of 4. The restaurant is nice, like a bistro. But be aware that there is no different for non-smoking of smoking and a bit hot. Service was fine,... More

they offer a cup of champagne but if you don't drink alcool nothing is given. the portion are small for the high price. the atmosphere is terrible, with a noisy music that you can not understand each other. I took a steak tartare but not well prepared and without capers? sorry is not worth is reputation.

Stopped by with my wife for dinner. Typical bistro atmosphere, a bit noisy and crowded but it was quite warm and for non smokers beware where we sat smoking was allowed indoors. Several of the dishes were great particularly the French onion soup, my ribeye with fries, and my wife's oysters and foie gras. We were disappointed in the seafood... More

Not a bad option. Recommend the mussels. Had a weird experience with the wine. We ordered one and the waiter came back with the one we ordered and another to consider that was twice as expensive. Stuck with our original choice. The space is really hot so if you're looking for an escape from the heat, suggest a different place.

We stumbled upon this restaurant without any direction. The mussels with saffron white wine were beyone belief! The food and wine seections were well-crafted allowing for the locally available ingredients. We enjoyed dinner at the bar with a couple from Singapore. The food, service, and international clientele was a fresh diversion from local noodles & bun. Our only suggestion is... More

Once again relying on Trip Advisor reviews led to a disappointing meal. I can only speculate that many reviewers had lower expectations than I. In any case, I had the French Onion Soup and Escargots for starters. They were both good and tasty. IMHO it is hard to mess up snails if you have garlic, butter and thyme. I then had... More

I didn't know whether i was in New York or Paris, but I definitely felt that 'bistro" style cafe when I walked into Le Buchon. The servers are quite attentive and the food was excellent. The French Onion Soup was absolutely delicious. The escargot needs a little more salt. The fresh bread fantastic. My beef tenderloin was a little too... More

The restaurant serves excellent bistro style food but tables are close together and it is difficult to have personal conversation - sitting at bar is better option for two. We tried the french onion soup (yum), fois de gras, seafood pasta, and steak (beware - medium rare translates into rare). Good selection of wines - the waitress recommended a Bordeaux,... More

If you're looking for some good French food in Saigon, come here. We had heard about the French Onion Soup here, and as reviewed it was amazing. The Escargo was very tasty, though you might want to add a little salt. Nice music playing and has a nice casual atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, made good recommendations, and were... More

Dined here a few nights ago and have been there maybe five times previously. First thing one notices is a comfortable environment with the just right amount of energy. Reservations are recommended but sat at the bar one time and that was fine except for an argument in French between whom I guessed were the owners (one male, one female).... More
