We enjoyed this restaurant located near the German Colony in Jerusalem. Situate in a converted warehouse or factory it is large but not overwhelming. Interesting food and wines and excellent friendly service. My wife was especially impressed with the risotto, which is not an easy dish to prepare. I had excellent lamb kebabs (more like medallions) served beautifully.

We were 4 persons on friday noon. Was not crowded and very calm. Plates were simple but tasty and not pretentious. Service was polite and efficient. Prices convenient. Pleasant place and good deal.

We've been here a few times and are always happy with the place. Carpaccio is lovely and then there's ample choice and also catch of the day is always good. We always have the wonderful tahini ice cream for pudding. Nice atmosphere and good food.

We stayed at Tamar Residences and the resturante recomended to us by the front desk. It was Sabbath evening (almost no restaurants open in Jerusalem) but we got 2 seat on the bar.We had a great meal and great service.

The Colony is a modern, easy living and relaxed restaurant with great food and an impressive wine list. It's non-kosher (you CAN get cheese in your burger) and open on friday and saturday nights as well. My wife had "the best steak I've had for a long time" of their entrecôte and an above average burger (was there twice) I... More

The service was sluggish, we had to remind the waiter three times about our request. The food was less than average and served cold, the fish of the day was not even from yesterday. The toilette was dirty, the place was noisy and unpleasent. We had to apologies before our guest that came from abroad. We will not go there... More

I live close to the Colony and I often go there as I used to like its food and the nice atmosphere, but in the last months I have experienced a deterioration in food quality that lead me to think I will never eat again there. Meals arrive to your table in 5 minutes, meaning they are all pre-cooked and... More

Fantastic place and glad I checked out trip advisor rather than make a decision myself on a dodgy restaurant guide! Excellent experience with friendly and helpful staff, was able to take my time and enjoyed the Chicken Liver Ravioli as a starter, few Sam Adams beers and decided I was hungry enough for a main so took the recommendations here... Chose this restaurant for a midday lunch, and enjoyed every minute of it. Being mid-week the place was scarcely populated, which gave us the benefit of a quick and efficient service. Besides the food was great: we took stuffed peppers with cheese which was delicious; a liver terrine which was OK. Then the cordon bleu with mozzarella cheese and small... More
