We went twice to this place because the food was very yummy. We tried their patriotic menu and was delicious. Very good location.
Lovely location in a middle of nice, colorful and touristic Valparaiso district; greatly refurbished interior, very stylish way. On the food front, it looks like most of energy went into decoration -unless we were very unlucky- as bruschetta had nothing to do with their italian counterpart and even ceviche wasn't very good, a bit tasteless as difficult as it seems.... My husband and I had a great lunch here. We had an excellent bottle of wine, and good seafood. The service was fine. We were in Valpo off season, so the restaurant was dead. But the food was great.
I went to this restaurant with my daughter and her husband for a lunch on a beautiful Saturday after a walk to the port. Service was very good, we could choose our table. The waiter as very friendly but professional, came with warm rolls and a kind of garlic butter (seems to be typical in the region). I ordered a... More
Chalkboard outside says 2-1 cocktails, 5-9:00. Bill comes and they refuse to honour it. They claim restrictions (actually only applies to a few of their dozens of offerings). The problem apparently was they we failed to tell them that we wanted 2-1 cocktails, even tho we came in when happy hour stared and only ordered cocktails. Big argument, and they... More
The food was very good. We had very varied dishes, from the Bruschetta to the Ceviche and vegetarian sandwich and everything tasted great. The service was excruciatingly slow though, even for Chilean standards. The food is quite pricey as well.
The restaurant has an intimate feel, but with a very modern touch. Neither the menu nor the wine list offers a great variety. Our experience seems to fall somewhat between that of others. The service was fine--the wait staff was friendly helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The food was quite ordinary. If we return to Valparaiso, we would not... More
Don't understand all great reviews about this place. I had octopus salad. Octopus was tough and inatable. Maybe i ordered the worst thing on the menu. Maybe other dishes are better. I would not go back there though. Many better places just around the corner.
Went here for lunch today (3rd Jan) - we were a bit hesitant at first as it looks expensive! - but were pleasantly surprised with the prices. The food was of great quality too, I had the Chupe of quinoa and prawns and my friends had the steak and cheese pie. Very impressed!!
