Food was nothing to write home about. The Shepard's pie was tasty but was 3/4 mashed potatoes and had few vegetables in it..

Beautiful building, food and service were both good. Previously featured on Diner, Drive-ins and Dives so I had high expectations. Glad we ate there- I would recomment it.
Have to be honest, we had a liquid lunch at the Galway Bay. It was so hot out we needed air-conditioning and a beer! The hospitality was great. The bartendar excellent company and very knowledgable about beer! Not the place you go sit at the bar and all you get is a hello and goodbye. A few fellow diners that...

It's about what you'd expect from an Irish pub in america. Mediocre fish and chips (though better than a lot of mediocre fish and chips, for what it's worth). The beer selection is so-so. Generally generic with two or three slightly craft-like beers thrown in. Nothing impressive though. The staff are all friendly and compotent. The inside is cozy and...

I work on the same street as this eatery is located. I wish I could frequent it. The food is decent but not great. The mussels are wonderful. The soups are pretty good. The wait staff is constantly lousy.
My husband and I had lunch at Galway Bay while passing through Annapolis. Be aware that parking is difficult, street only with meters. We arrived at about 1:00 pm on a Wednesday and the restaurant was not busy. I had the fried oyster appetizer with coleslaw. The coleslaw was vinegar based and very sour. The oysters were fresh and delicious....

Try the appetizer fried oyster platter. They were juicy, plump, and tender. They were served with a vinegar coleslaw. That appetizer and a beer is enough for lunch. Yummy
Quality of food was surprisingly excellent. bar and waiting staff friendly and attentive. There was an "Irish" band playing while I was there which further added to the experience and spent a much longer time here than I intended!
Galway is as charming as any pub I was in in Irland. The staff is attentive and pleasant. The management treats their customers like guests in their home. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. If you are in Annapolis wonder over to Maryland Ave for a pint at Galway Bay
We selected this place since they had a gluten-free menu which is very important to my husband who has food allergies. They were very friendly and the waitress even when to the kitchen to double check if the food was prepared as we requested. They have a selection of GF foods and beers. It was a small place but the...
