Description: Cafe 2825 is a`"Neighborhood Italian" restaurant 1 block up from Tropicana and "The Quarter". The Lautato family has been serving simple Italian-American cuisine in upscale casual style since arriving from Brooklyn in 1986. Joseph is the host of this 14 table intimate, white tablecloth restaurant. His warmth and friendliness make the Cafe a favorite of locals and casino guests. He travels to his hometown of Brooklyn each week for the necessary ingredients to keep the Cafe as authentic as you would find a NY or Philly nieghborhood. On any evening you will find Ginny, his wife, behind the bar, Jackie, his daughter, waiting on tables and Momma Rose's recipes in the kitchen. These are a few of the reasons locals frequent Cafe 2825. The difficulty in obtaining reservations reflects all the passion in the restaurant. We are sure you will enjoy dining at our Cafe. Please do not let positve reviews mislead you, we are just a famliy cooking dinners. .

We wanted to try 2825 for a while, so we went on the Saturday night for a special occasion. We arrived and used their complimentary valet parking around the corner from the restaurant. When we entered, we saw a typical row house type layout. Bar along one side and a long, narrow dining area. The place was pretty small, which... More

Joe play's food like an artist. REALLY! All 4 of us were unable to believe that the next bite was better then the one before. Everything was FRESH! We were completely knock off our feet with every detail of this place! Joe was kind and friendly. One of the most modest and talented chefs I have ever met. The plates... More

AC is full of tourist traps...bad food, bad drinks, bad music. Well, Cafe 2825 might be the best thing in this city of vices. This was our first visit to Cafe 2825 but it definitely will not be our last. If you were teleported to this restaurant you would think you are in a New York City bistro... quaint, well-appointed,... We went there with someone that frequents the place so we couldn't have had better service. This was my second time there and the food was wonderful. The calamari were just perfect, the pasta bolognese was amazing. All the meals were scrumptious, service excellent. The place is quite small and a bit noisy but going with a group of friends,... While looking for places to eat while on a weekend trip I wanted to stay away from the casino glitz and fake lights. I found this restaurant and was not disappointed. Dad was cooking. Mom was hostess and working the bar. Daughter was our waitress. She asked Dad to suggest a wine from the few I was having a hard... More

You will find dishes that are not being served in other restaurants. I had stuffed calamari that were huge and god sent. Hot conch (scungilly) . Both a very, very rare find. Others not mentioned. My favorite place.

The food was way over priced. The place was small felt like i was sitting with a party of ten but there was only 2 of us. The chicken parm was $25 came with one little piece of chicken and that's it. The service was just ok the waitress did disappear for awhile, which is weird because its tiny. I... More
