Large collection of deserts, croissants, baklavas, rolls etc. and real LATTE which is quite rare in batumi. I did notice that the van with fresh baked stuff arrives to unload at about 10, so any earlier will be day-old-only. The bakery is not onsite.
Croissant was not fresh, probably left over from the day before. Coffee was tasty Staff friendly. It is just opposite the Turkish Consul General's residence which is a beautiful historical building.
As my guesthouse didn't service breakfast, and Batumi is a rather daunting place for a solo female English-speaking diner in the off-season, I found this place to be an oasis. Cappuccino was perfect. A small but very busy place with great pastries, that don't necessarily look as good as they taste. Prices are fair for what you get. But waitresses and cashiers started express their impatience 10 minutes before closing time. 5 minutes till they informed us that we had 5 minutes to finish or.. Boulangerie is a cute little cafe serving an immense variety of cakes and pastries. I went here 3 times during my stay in Batumi and am embarrassed to say I tried two cakes every time- too difficult to choose!
