For us this was the best place to eat and laze. We searched but could not get better tiger prawns than from here. The music was great and accompanied an amazing sun set. We visited on our first day and our last. Wish we had visited more. Thank you to the young man who took our pictures with the sunset.

Try another shack what a rip off here if you must go don't order giant crab they take all the white crab meat out to use in crab soup and sit you in the dark so you don't notice. Complain and Ryan sets the dog on you.

We stumbled upon the shack quite by chance - and I was both pleased and relieved to see them proudly displaying Tripadvisor citations. That got my hopes up I guess...... Quiet night (Good Friday) when we visited, but wished we'd had chance to visit at a better time. Had a couple of good dishes and the sounds were good, but would have like to see the place on a busier night.

Service very friendly, you might have to wait a few minutes for your drinks to be brought to you, but who cares when you can chill out in such a great spot. Ryan's Shack has a great atmosphere, with good food. Ryan greets every guest individually & also remembers if you have been there before. The service is great and I can honestly say I've never experienced such a clean toilet on a beach before. Will definitely be back!!

I went to Ryan's shack thinking from trip advisor it was going to be good but it was not good at all. The body boards were broken the service was so slow in happy hour you could not hear your self think the umbrellas were ripped and subbed torn over all not the best shack ever
