Closed for renovations 6/5 - 16/6 2013 so missed my best mex fix this trip look forward to see & food next trip
This restaurant is closed for renovation from 6th May - 16th June it's great food and staff are very attentive when it is open. Just went there for dinner and a strawberry margarita will have to wait for next visit
Read other reviews and thought we would give this place a go. Good menu selection and reasonable prices but the food was rubbish. Fajitas were slop and chips were burnt crinkle cuts.
We visited on the 30 April 2013, 4 adults, 2 children and one baby.
First impression when looking inside is that it seems quite nice. Then asking the staff if they had a child menu they were not friendly at all so unlike Bali, and said no.
Despite this good reviews on TA we thought that we would give it...

Went to TJ's on the recommendation of friends and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious, well cooked and the meat very tender, and the cocktails were the best I have had in Bali. The atmosphere is like a Mexican cantina with a pond in the middle! Staff aren't as attentive as other restaurants in Bali, but are quick to...

Ordinarily we don't write reviews on restaurants and rarely would we consider writing negative ones. But this has bugged me. First visited TJ's about six years ago and it was phenomenal. The year after, still great. But a couple of years ago the standard seemed to drop. Kept thinking that it was a 'one off' and still made an effort...

The atmosphere is relaxed, can get quite busy as the night progresses. A really good choice of food, though a bit extra meat in the fillings would...

had TJs recommended as the place to eat, food was average, staff were good but not over friendly, prices were good but not a place I would rush back to
We had visited TJ’s on previous trips to Bali and were, again, very pleased with the visits (we went twice this time around). It’s a beautiful restaurant and their Mexican food is as good as you’ll get just about anywhere. The Chilli Con Queso dip is always a great start and the family were very happy with their orders of...

Wen't to this place after reading some of the reviews. The food was not bad, though nothing to rave about, and the margaritas were unexceptional. The staff was friendly enough. Guess if you're hankering for mexican food this is the place to go, as there aren't many choices in Kuta
