I used to go here all the time when I worked in Armonk. It’s a big place great for lunch or a lunch meeting. The décor is nostalgic and the staff is trained and friendly.
We were a group of 12, fairly good for a relaxed evening at a reasaonle price. Burgers fairly good, about average. Really wanted the ribs, but they were out. Salads looked ok, starters ok. So all in all about average.
We went there last Sunday afternoon and were the only diners in the place at first. We had been there many times before and knew it was a good choice with the two children in tow. I was so incredibly disappointed. The service, while pleasant, was marginal; there were flies swarming the table all through lunch. The fish in the... More
. Most of their menu I find quite good. Burgers are great and they have coupons every once in awhile which make it a great value. Every time I have gone it has been quite quiet. Guess I just timed it right. Think its a perfect spot for what your after.
You can't make this stuff up. The restaurant can be a madhouse of screaming kids, running from one end to the other, while parents sit at tables and gossip. The food is remarkably poor, on most occasions. The kids play games, briefly eat when their parents scream at them to come to the table and feed, and then dash off... More
Route 22 never dissapoints. The food is always good and the kids love to play the video games. The burgers are always a hit but there are also lots of other entrees to choose from. Love the spinach dip, too.
It was a complete washout for Memorial Day weekend! It rained all weekend and we had to pack it up and go back to Our home in westchester. We decided to stop and eat at Route 22 in Armonk New York! Is claimed to be kid friendly yet it was also a adult friendly! Very impressed with the choices on... More
Went there for a special occasion with children. They advertise with a kids meal, the food would be served in a special car. Not true!! What a disappointment. The food was terrible to put it mildly. Would never go back. Don't waste your money. Too many good places out there.
Good food. A bit noisey when kids are running around. Nice atmosphere. A bit pricey. Just burger, salad and wine for 2 was $65. Would still go back for quick casual dinning.
This is a fun food place. Though I went as a couple on a Friday evening (our third visit), it is very family friendly. The ambiance is inviting and the decor is retro...vintage cars and gasoline signs etc..The service is excellent..friendly and fast. The burgers are generous and cooked to order with all sorts of different toppings and seasonings. The... More
