Absolutely loved it: the great atmosphere, really nice service and very very tasteful food. They even have a small benches (or maybe they are tiny chairs) for the handbags for each lady. Food is not for everyday, because they have kind of rare menu, but perfect for some special evening. Prices are higher than average, but it is worth it,...

A really beautiful place, stylish, classy, perfectly situated just in the back of the Bolshoi theatre. Must be the most upscale place I have been in in Moscow. And the food was simply excellent. Service was discete and prompt. We were early, so not too much compertition to get some attention. It seems the borcht & the stroganov are the...

The atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. The service was great and the servers were warm and friendly. The food was delicious, but expensive. The vodka was the best I've ever had. Great authentic Russian place to eat!
Had a private visit of the Bolshoi, even got to go on stage and back stage... so impressive and beautiful !
We dined with our friends in this classy-looking restaurant and were disappointed. The waiter quite shamelessly kept for himself approximately 12 cl from the first bottle of red wine we ordered. Excellent food and great service (without being over the top). As is typical for Moscow open late so you can comfortably go after the ballet. Also typical for Moscow and Russia the wine prices are ridiculously high, seems inescapable! Overall a great restaurant and definitely recommended.
If you are interested, what wine is the most popular among Russian oligarchs in this season - here sommelier knows the answer. Be ready to pay more than 1000$ for the bottle, and more then 300$ per person for the food.
Bolshoi is a proper formal dining place. Went here for a business dinner, service was very good. They have a very extensive menu with good variety, and as expected, a comprehensive wine list. The appetizers were excellent, the mains pretty good. Overall a solid bet for a formal meal.
In great cities you always need to go to great restaurants. Everything about the Bolshoi was big, including the bill of course. If you can afford it go because it is a great culinary adventure, I had the best blinis with beluga caviar, great veal and amazing dessert
