The salads are wonderful! Has one of the nicest atmospheres of restaurants in town, with beautiful patio dining outback, sophisticated interior dining area, and great out door patio over looking the main street of downtown Ashland

Can be busy around theater time as it is next to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival so reservations are recommended. Excellent Italian food.

Going to a play? Walk out the door and the theaters are just steps away! Combine the location with friendly staff, timely service, and great food and you've got a winner...

We had a terrible experience in this restaurant. We definetely will not come back, and will not recommend to our hotel guests. I ordered a pasta, but I could tasted only garlic. I wasted my money. The vase and decanters on the table were very dirty. The soup came with my pasta tasted just old, they must be rewarmed the... More

We enjoyed a late lunch and I think it was the perfect time of day because the restaurant was very quiet. My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza and I ordered a caesar salad and small Hawaiian pizza. The fresh bread brought to the table was delicious. The service was quite friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. All of the food... More

The sauce for the pasta was very good, but the clams were large, overcooked, so trying to eat them was a challenge...very rubbery. We had eaten at that restaurant before, and it was very good. I would think twice before ordering clams there again

If you want to hang out with Festival cast and crew, you should grab a draft beer or drink here at this favorite post-show hangout. I especially enjoyed an amber ale called "Dead Guy," which I believe is a reference to the Bard.

The two coupled restaurants, Martino's and Macaroni's Ristorante (one upstairs and one down) provide an excellent Italian menu, especially the complete and tasty list of pasta dishes, friendly and timely service (necessary if dinner is to be followed by a play), an appropriate wine list, and a location immediately adjacent to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s three theaters. Seated at 6:30... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The atmosphere is dark and intimate, but not so dark that reading the menu was a problem. The selection of menu items is excellent. We had attentive service. Both the house salad and the Caesar salads were plentiful and tasty. The house salad included tomatoes, yellow bell pepper, cucumbers and a nice oil/ vinegar... More

The restaurant is very attractive, although a bit dark. We sat in a booth in front of a window and it was nice to be able to watch the activity outside. I had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and a side caesar salad. The salad dressing was a bit sour, like it had too much lemon. The croutons were good.... More
