Ate there for the second time in a month. Last time, there were 8 of us, 5 this time (or 7, as we ran into friends having diner and had dessert together). Great view, lovely atmosphere, and the food was excellent both times.

Fantastic location, super romantic and good food and wine. They specialise in French food (not many veggy options).

Went on a Saturday night, expecting it to be packed, but there was hardly anyone there. We soon found out why - tasteless, overpriced food and indifferent waiters who weren't interested in non-Portuguese speakers.

The lobster and shrimp are excellent. A great view of the waterfront. The best thing was the creme brûlée (wonderful). Staff is friendly.

It doesn't make any sense in these times of affluence, but fine restaurants are a dying breed in Búzios. Le Cigalon is one of the very last that remain and is still worth a visit, if french food, air conditioning and high prices is what you're after.

This meal was bought for our honeymoon by a friend. What a great treat. The meal was excellent and service was top notch. Highly recommended.
