Beautiful simple design and great food. Had the chicken liver and some Portuguese pork & beans dish and was blown away. Staff and owner very nice. Don't miss this place when in Panjim. Highly recommended and i cant wait to eat there again.

Horseshoe is 1 of the Best Places I have eaten at. Its specializes on Goan and Portuguese food. A wonderful atmosphere where there is not over crowded with alot of people but at the same time very homely. The owner Mr. Vasco is very friendly and cooks the food himself...So the food is always prepared fresh..:)
I have no complaints...

Went for dinner there on advise of a good Goan friend,
I must adnit that it is 1 of the very bad places in Panjim to go for dinner.
The curries are pure water with a little bit of massala in it and totally tasteless,
All the curries are tasting the same way , the fish is overcooked and consequently...

Horse shoe (Ferradura) restaurant at Panaji Goa, is a small boutique restaurant which can easily be missed if you are not careful to locate it. And if you miss it , you have missed one of the greatest gourmet delights in Goa. Justifiably, the restaurant has won the Times Now Foodie's best local cuisine (West) award for 2012. Take the...

The Horse Shoe is an excellent restaurant. Please try the chicken and rice soup! The best I have ever had. My wife and I were very pleased with food and service. Highly recommend, Mr. Dale "The guy that travels internationally, as a hobby."
A must try is the pan-fried sausage and fresh tuna salad. Extremely friendly staff and the owner-chef is a very friendly person. The food is slightly bland as it is prominently Portuguese cuisine and will be enjoyed only by those who enjoy Portuguese food
We ordered Vindaloo chicken and Coconut Chicken curry with a coconut flavour. The flavours were brilliant! We ordered port wine. Finished our meal with caramel pudding and almond souffle. The pudding was soft and delicious. The souffle was blissfully textured. The bill came around to 800 bucks for two people. This was our second day in Goa, and the first...

We just found this lovely, small restaurant just by coincidence walking around. The Horse Shoe is located near the foot bridge (E-245, Rua De Ourem, Panaji). We had a superb diner at our first evening in Panaji, and we went there at our second evening as well. The restaurant serves Portuguese Goan cuisine, and is fantastic break from regular Indian...

We also visited this place as a result of the Lonely Planet, but that's all we have in common with the other reviewers.
We had great service, great food, and thought the atmosphere was lovely, even though it was quiet.
Our bill was £30 for the two os us, but that was because we chose to spend £20 on wine....

We visited this restaurant because it had been recommended by all the guide books. What a disappointment. The place was clean and bright but there was not much atmosphere to speak of (I have a vague recollection of peachy-colored walls and floor, glass tables, black metal chairs, quite bright lighting, but don't quote me on any of this) and the...
