Lovely owner, delicious ice cream and a delightful deck on which to sit and enjoy the view. Located at the quieter end of the old town, so feels even more unique to have such a cafe amongst the local homes.

A funky little shop selling fresh home-made ice cream, with flavours i had never tried before, such as tamarind and lavender. So friendly and so relaxed that you just want to stay there all day! I cant wait to go back.
We wandered past this rather stylish shack several times before finding it open. The kitchen was closed, but the owner still managed to rustle up some excellent coffee and ice cream, and entertain us with tales of his travels. This place is likely to closed in the low season (about May to November) but it may still be worth nipping...

We already miss Koh Lanta and those fabulous ice cream, this is more than just an ice cream, you can share real good time at Lanta with Fafa, the chief !
I recommend at least once a day if you stay few day's in Koh Lanta.

Shanti Shanti is one of the best hanging out places in Klong Nin. Great owners, awesome food & always a friendly smile. Tip: try their homemade desserts.....just yummi!!
We kept driving past this little cafe when it was closed. We made a special trip in the afternoon to visit when it was opened. It is a cosy little cafe with a very friendly owner. The highlight of this place was the Chai tea. It would have to be one of the best I have ever drank! The owner...

We were looking for a place to eat in Koh Lanta. This shop may not be your 5 star hotel look but don't judge from the outside. Once we walked in Ben the owner welcomed us and we decided to try his main dish. This was by far the best spot out of our whole trip to this island. Ben...

It was nice ice cream and the own was pleasant but I can't figure out how this place ranks so high with so many other places that have a lot more going for them. One small scoop of ice cream for 80 Baht was a bit pricey but it was quite enjoyable.
I've eaten at the Klong Nin shop, rather than the Old Town branch. I've seen lots of people have commented on the friendliness of the French owners. There was just one French guy when we got there and he was rather grumpy. The ice cream was good, there was a small selection of different flavours, not all a success (the...

So the only reason we stopped in to this joint in Old Lanta was because the neighboring cafe didn't do coffee (see my separate review of Caoutchouc).
A charming welcome from two French brothers who, despite busy eating a late lunch, invited us in when we inquired about ice creams for the kids. We sat, admiring the perfect view from...
