I would not call Petrichor a restaurant..for me it is a place you go to meet friends and just hang out, enjoy the art, indulge in great conversation with the owners who are avid music lovers and extremely well read..and of course..the amazing food which I can't seem to find in any of the metros of this country..It's a great...

Petrichor is about feeling home far away from your own one. In a country with so many differences to your own culture it was so pecious to have a place were you feel instantly comfortable and relaxing, enjoying wonderful food, good music, cosy ambience and most of all you meet Dipang and Sweta, two persons as an evidence that we...

Like many have said before, this place is good if you want to take a break from the typical indian life, and want to play some board games, watch a movie while eating falafel, french toast or other non-indian food (the food is really good!). And the owner of the place is very nice and kind!
Other than Petrichor...we went to this place after seeing the ratings on Trip Advisor and it happened to be all that and more...I travel a lot around India but have never come across such a relaxing and unpretentious place. Everything is great, the ambience feels like home, the food is AWESOME...you must catch them on one of their "specials" night......

The lovely couple that runs this place serves the best Italian and Mexican food you can get in that area, and by area I mean the next 100 miles or more. Contact to local civil rights activities are possible if you're interested in trying to make the world a better place. They play great background music (Jazz and Rock). On...

Petrichor became my second home for the monsoon month of August. I was lucky to stumble upon it in my first week and kept going back. It was by far my favourite place in Darjeeling. Petrichor has the perfect combination of great food, art, books, music and of course football... but the best part was the people. Thanks Sweta and...
