me and my wife went here coz of vegeterian restaurant, but the taste of the food wasn't good,we ordered special thalis in which only the daal and chapati n rice was good, sabzi had no taste and they hell lot of time to prepare and too much of rush
The food is just great. The best food experience in Darjeeling. The restaurant is quite crowded, so you have to be patience. People are standing waiting for the table. They have a very large open kitchen. I don't really know what to say other than the food here is great.
Food is nice but the wait period is horrible. The sitting area is so small that even while you share the Table with other travellers the space to move is almost negligible. had been there more than once during our stay in Darjeeling, because of their quality and tasty food. its a vegetarian restaurant, so non veg. lovers can skip it.
I came to eat here four times while staying in Darjeeling. I enjoyed their Indian dishes, as well as, their 'western style' food. The lunch Southern Thali was so big and so yummy. The toasted tomato cheese sandwich was a great value. And the veg cheese burger was my favorite. Nothing was made with meat, everything was fresh and delicious....

The place is popular and extremely crowded, facilities are very basic. The food is simple and good, but good luck finding a table.
The food quality is first class, but when it gets busy you will have to wait. the noise can be a bit disturbing sometimes, but it naturally comes with crowds. Unfortunatelly the place does not have a toilet for customers.
A wide array of food, and all very tasty. Unfortunately at meal times it can get a bit crowded but understandably so as the food is good, freshly made and cheap. We returned many times, I recommend the butter masala dosa!
we recommend indian thali and local tea. we have visited this place two times in two days and really like it.
