A very tasty meal. I had the rockfish/cod combo special and it was delicious. Hubby went for the king crab and enjoyed it as well. Very friendly, courteous, and prompt staff.
Cafe Cups is quirky on the outside and delicious on the inside!! The excellent wait staff is professional, prompt and friendly! They handle the crowd quite well so even though it's packed (recommend reservations) the service is always good! The preparations are unique, fresh and the best in town! We always make a point to take our guests there as... More
At the suggestion of a bartender at Salty Dawg (another spot not to be missed) I went to Cups for a fresh seafood meal. What a spot-on recommendation! Quirky decor and delicious food. The seafood pasta was amazing, very local and very fresh. Excellent wine selection and a truly unique dining environment. One of my favorite Alaska dining experiences.
This is a great place to go for food that is always a hit, i tell all my B&B guests to go there and i will make reservations for them. The servers are great and they always make me my special (not on the menu) meal for me, it can get loud in there but the food and service is... More
We made a reservation for Café Cups based on the recommendation of the server at Bear Creek Winery and I'm very glad we did because there was a crowd of people waiting when we got there. We were seated and I have to say that the 2 gals that were waiting on the tables worked their butts off and were... More
This is a busy, busy restaurant. Reservations are hard to come by, as is elbow space for you, the other customers, and the waitstaff. Staff seems rushed and frazzled, but still hit your orders right on. Good wine selection, and a nice menu. We've learned to always order from the specials menu. Not because the other menu isn't notable, but... More
Loved the decor, inside and out. We had a raised table, center of main room, like ringside at a fun circus. Food was very, very good! I think our server might have been one of the owners, but even though crazy busy, she made us feel like guests at her party. At the end of a sold-out weekend night dinner,... More
Cafe Cups is a small bustling restaurant with a varied menu. The owners Jen and Dave are your waitress and chef respectively, but they don't do it alone and the camaraderie among staff shows in the front of house. Even though the menu has something for everyone, vegetarians, pescatarians, and carboholics alike, I don't always open it. Jen will come... More
As for its decoration Cups Cafe is definitely a funky place. I make sure to eat here each time I visit Homer. It is noisy and very busy. The harried staff do their best and service is good despite being so busy. The menu has a good variety of selections, from pasta, steaks, and of course sea food. The prime... More
Found Cafe Cups to be fun place to have a nice meal but just a little pricey - but everything is pricey in Alaska. We ordered a seafood pasta dish and a very select charbroiled rib-eye steak. Both meals were uniquely prepared with sauces you would not typically find in other restaurants. For example, the creative pasta dish had a... More
