We weren't expecting such quality on the very busy/touristy Waterfront. The beef filet with wine/cognac/mushroom sauce is awesome. Great service as well. Must go!

Restaurant is inside of the V&A Waterfront. Perfect view of the table montain while you eat. Food was good and prices aren't high for the point. Service is not good, but not so bad. It's a good option if you want to eat inside de mall.

We always come back here time and time again when we're in Cape Town. Delicious food and very good service.

Just outside the V & A on the waterfront. We did not sit outside but had a window table . It was noisy but had a nice atmosphere. Would travel to Cape Town just to eat here! May be in the V&A and one of many chain type places but have never been disappointed by the food here. Carpaccio and steak that can't be beaten and always served by friendly efficient waiters. Looking forward to next October and another meal here

Our family of four all ordered different items from the menu and enjoyed everything that we ate. The mixed skewer was a hit with my 20 year old son as it offered a taste of all the African bush animals including crocodile. I had warthog which was good and my husband and son had steaks. We have been lucky enough to go to Cape Town 3 times during the past 4 years. We have eaten several times at the City Grill and have also taken friends there to eat with us. The steaks here are the best we have had anywhere. The fillet steaks melt in your mouth and are cooked to your exact requirements.... More

We were seated outside. Great view of harbour. Steak was excellent, service superb if you are in Cape Town you must dine at City Grill, belive me its worth it!!!!!!!
