Food, as described by most contributors to the site, is very good. Stick with the Italian fare rather than yet another ojo de bife!!! Charming staff etc. The atmosphere is laidback...as is the whole Dorrego Square (at least on Sundays, when the flea market is in full swing). It´s worth splashing out on a good bottle of wine (US$15 upwards).... More

A last minute decision to skip the ubiquitous steam for a final dinner was richly rewarded with this great little restaurant overlooking La Defensa. A truly amazing risotto with truffle and porcini followed by an amazing tiramisu. This is is a gem with great service to boot.

Went for lunch one day and returned for dinner the next day. Homemade pasta is excellent. Steak was good but stick with the pasta, risotto and salads. Wonderful breadsticks. Service a bit slow, but relax and enjoy.

It's been a while since I was here. I'm not in San Telmo as much as I would like. I typically spend most of my time in Recoleta and Palermo but this restaurant is definitely a good excuse to come to San Telmo for a great meal. The location is fantastic in front of Plaza Dorrego. You have to look... More

Make sure if you plan to eat here to book the balcony seats if there is just 2 of you. The balcony overlooks plaza dorrego which is the busiest on Sunday during the San Telmo flea market. Our pasta and risotto were flawless, bread and starters were ok too. The view of the plaza is fabulous and beats everything else

Booked in advance, requesting balcony table,as recommended by other T.A. reviews.Very pleasant eating outside, but could not see anything in Plaza Dorrego, due to trees! Also no tango, just heavy metal group playing quite loud! Restaurant itself, is good.Only complaint, waiter took our order, without writing anything down. Needless to say,he brought my wife, a dish she had not ordered. Food quite good, but would not... More

Lovely italian upstarts just off plaza deffensa. We went on a Sunday when the antique and crafts market was on. Well worth a visit. Fresh pasta and the tiramisu were superb.

We somewhat nervously sought non parilla food after a disaster night in Palermo trying to do the same thing 2 nights ago. Fortunately, tonight was a winner. Friendly service, our waiter went through the menu with us - traditionally safe Italian, what we ate was tasty and well prepared and presented in manageable proportions. The entrees list is limited and... More

I've visitied Amici Miei 3 times now and every time the food has been excellent, having tried the pizza, pasta, rissoto and salads I would heartily recommend them all. Well cooked, great flavours and good servive. So why not 5 stars? The cuisine while excellent does lack a little imagination, it doesn't stray far from the Italian staples, albeit done... More
