OMG this place is GREAT!!! We stopped for lunch, I was visiting family. Lunch began with in-house-baked Focaccia bread. served in an iron skillet (kept warm over a small flame), complemented with a garlic/olive oil salsa. We then shared a Garlic Spinach Fontina Fondue appetizer followed by Garlic Roasted Prime Rib, the petite Fillet Mignon and (for me) the NY... More

Friends suggested this resturant while I was visiting LA. I had the lasagna and it was very good. Afterward my friend suggested I try the garlic ice cream. It was a strange experience but I'm glad that I did. Each bite starts with a nice vanilla ice cream flavor then finished with a hint of garlic. Weird, but so interesting.... More

Had a great steak dinner at the rose. I had the metro filet - hate the name but the steak was awesome. Drinks were priced reasonable and strong - went well with dinner. The atmosphere is a little unique when catches you off guard when you see some guests dining with garlic clove hats on their head - check it... More

My family and I came here for my nephew's birthday celebration at lunchtime on a Sunday. The restaurant was quiet, which was nice! The parking was free - valet parking after 4PM. The service was excellent. We ordered the Bagna Calda, which is always yummy; and the calamari appetizer. Calamari was nice and crispy, and not chewy. My sister got... More

We had a large party and asked for separate checks which the manager refused to do. Fortunately, one of the guests was an accountant so he tallied each groups' tab including tax and tip. They did accept separate credit cards as long as we gave them the amount to charge to each one. The rolls were hot and served quickly... More

We ate here with friends. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the garlic smell. And the decor is garlic themed and kind of quirky. But the food is great. Lots of options, and while they do use garlic in the cooking, it is very well done. I had a house salad and the pan grilled mussels.... More

We LOVE garlic! The menu offers a wide variety of dishes--we particularly enjoyed the ribs. We were early diners and had the bar to ourselves for a bit. The bartender offered us a taste of garlic wine-direct from Gilroy, CA. Unique and tasty and would be quite nice to use for cooking. How could you resist the garlic ice cream?... More

Must love garlic :) This is definitely a special occasion restaurant. I came here for my birthday lunch with my family twice and a 3rd time with a group of friends. All were lovely experiences from the appetizers down to the garlic ice cream (which people should try!). They take online reservations which is very convenient. Note, that my review... More
