Expensive, food just OK. You're paying for the views..... Found the views and food at Ragged Point Inn to be much much better...and better priced. more

I had the sea bass, served with rice, avocado, tomato salsa, carrot, and brocolli. A delicious dish, with each ingredient cooked perfectly. My friends had the halibut and the sirloin steak, all as good as my dish. The desserts were as excellent as the main courses, both the cheese cake, the black and white cake, and the Oregon berries ice... more

My husband and I ate here after arriving in Cambria having driven 8 hours. We stayed at the Fogcatcher (very nice) and walked over. We weren't very hungry but wanted to eat something and have a drink or two. The restaurant's decor is casual and nice but with some homey quilts on the walls which seemed strangly out of place.... more

Whether it's brunch, lunch, or dinner - be sure to eat at the Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill. The food is excellent, yet reasonably priced; and the staff is prompt and courteous. The indoor dining is elegant; and the outdoor dining is wonderful. Although both indoor and outdoor diners enjoy an ocean view, I prefer dining outdoors. The proximity to... more

Ate at this restaurant on a Monday night....was that the reason? I sent my Sea Bass back as it was overcooked and dry, served with a huge mound of flavorless rice and a few stocks of broccoli that was also overcooked and cold---$28.95 My husband ordered a New York steak and chewed through a tough piece of meat that should... more

Myself and three friends spent 2 weeks travelling from San Fran to San Diego and had not even mentioned Cambria on our holiday planner, but after a long drive we decided to stop there and stretch our legs, within seconds we loved the views and decided to spend a night there. I can't remember the name of the hotel we... more

we went there for dinner because of lots of great reviews, and were disappointed. We had several appetizers to share, and all were average at best. Sauteed mushrooms were just OK; crab cakes were too hard and pretty tasteless, shrimp crostini were not bad. The candied walnut gorgonzola salad was prepared with romaine lettuce, for some reason, instead of mixed... more

My Husband and I were celerbarating our 25th anniversary with a 3 week trip t the US. We decided to stay in Cambria because of my research on the net. We stayed at the Fogcatcher Inn which we would highly recommend. We got in late on a dark, rainy, stormy night. After checking in we wondered up the road and... more

This is a wonderfully quaint and classy restaurant with exceptional cuisine and service. It has an absolutely gorgeous coastal view which can be enjoyed from inside as well as from their large outdoor patio area. My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary in Cambria and had very disappointing dining experiences until we found Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill. Their... more

The waitress was fun and helpful. We arrived just before sunset . It was fabulious. The staff turned down the lighting at that time. This would be a very romantic place to eat. The four of us each ordered a different dinner, so we could try different things. The seafood pasta was loaded with different fish. The oysters were hugh,... more
