The food was amazing! I enjoyed the atmosphere and were amazed at all the dogs. We actually walked in without reservations and they were able to accommodate us. The service was great and the place was packed...I suggest making a reservation.

We were in Carmel for three nights, and liked Terry's so much we ate there two of the three nights. Very friendly atmosphere. Great sand dabs! The best thing about the menu is that it has a "small plate" selection option that gives you a "normal" size portion of great tasting food without costing a fortune.
We dined at Terry's restaurant several times while staying at The Cypress Inn (this year and last) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience each visit. The canine and Doris Day atmosphere is a lot of fun, but the food and service are excellent. Highly recommend their wild Salmon dishes, Chicken Picatta, daily specials and different desserts. We prefer dining on the...

this is one of the restaurants in Carmel where you can bring you pet inside and eat. Where they were going to sit us was small and a walk way, not a perfect place for a 60lb Samoyed. The staff was great, the foods was okay... Wished they would have told my husband the seared tuna was served French style,...

Lot's of Doris Day Posters with Cary Grant! Love this bar especially during Happy Hour. Super bartenders and great service. Doris Day movies on the tv's in the bar area A must see if you visit Carmel for the first time. Super Hotel!
They have small portion (and suitably small prices (for Carmel)) entre's such as Seared Ahi. Works well for us since wife gets the hamburger (which is excellent, I know because I usually get half after I polish off my Ahi). The main attraction though, is it is an indoor place where you have a full bar and dogs are at...

We visited with two Cavalier King Charles spaniels, the servers were very accommodating, suggested a wonder bottle of wine. The other guests on the patio, most of which had pups, were friendly and the entire place had a great vibe. If your looking for a stop while you're out in Carmel, it's a must. Inside the old toys and other...

We were more than a little apprehensive walking in to this place after reading so many dog lovers' reviews. Not that we mind dogs (we are cat people) but we do not care for them near our food - goes for grocery stores too - so we opted for drinks only on the doggy side of the bar. Some yapping...

This lounge /restaurant is in the Cypress Inn. Our dog was welcome inside (designated dog friendly area) or outside in the patio. Really nice day so we ate outside. We had a really nice server...our dog ( very fussy sometimes) did not want to drink out of the communal dog water "trough" so the waitress brought our dog her own...

When the Cypress Inn renovated Terry's lounge a few years ago we were so impressed with the decor and the new try at food service. After a few years I have to say the bar continues to be underwhelming. Service on Saturday, February 16th was about as bad as it can get. The bartender was very unfriendly and when he...

Dear trombert,
Thanks so much for taking the time to review us! I'm so sorry that your experience was underwhelming. I was able to have a chat with the bartender in question, and he remembered you right away. He asked me to pass along his apologies - he truly didn't mean any offence. It was an (admittedly failed) attempt at...
