I love the beer and the food at this place, and the views simply can't be beat. I'm not enough of a beer expert to recommend any particular one of their brews. I had one called something like "Wit" and really enjoyed it. The Mavericks Kobe Brewery Burger was outstanding, as were the steamed clams. My only complaint would be... More

Beautiful afternoon on a large outdoor patio is not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Bad beer is usually the price you pay for traveling in the US but not today. The Irish Dry Stout is fantastic! Great Mac and cheese for the kids. The seafood duo is very tasty. Crab roll was underwhelming. Free wifi! Wait staff very... More

There were a good deal of positives, but a couple of things ruined lunch. We were a group of 3 adults and 5 kids. The kids menu was exceptional...fresh fruit, really nice selection of entrees. Chicken tenders were...not such tender, but the serving size was large. The fried artichoke hearts were not as good as some found in Castroville and... More

We stopped here for lunch while we were exploring Half Moon Bay. If it's a nice day, I would recommend sitting outside, it's right across the street from the beach and they even have a little fire pit you can sit around. We had the crab cocktail and fish tacos, both of which were really good. You should also try... More

We sat outside on a beautiful afternoon and enjoyed a bottle of wine. We chose not to eat after observing some of the plates coming out. There was an odd smell apparent as well as people with dogs, which I felt was a health department violation. Our server was nice and the wine list was priced fairly. Unfortunately there was... More

We stayed the weekend for the Dream Machine Show and decided to eat here on Sunday night. There was 10 in our group and after waiting for a while, we were seated at the back of the restaurant. That's OK, but then we were seated next to a group with a bunch of unruly kids who were jumping off the... More

Ok so it's a brewing company but it's not that hard to invest in a decent coffee machine for the few non-beer drinkers stopping by in the morning. But if you like loud music at breakfast and surfer cool disinterested staff then this is the place for you, just order a Bloody Mary or beer which look like the safest... More

I had a crab roll and the pale ale of the day. I sat inside, at a window table with a view of the water and the bluff above Mavericks in the distance. It was all good, with friendly and efficient service, and reasonably priced. I'd go back.

Decided to pop in here for breakfast. I was warmly met and seated, but then ignored for 10 minutes... When I finally ordered the food came quickly but the then I was in a grumpy mood. They seated somone in the corner and for scientific purposes I decided to time how long they were ignored. 8 Minutes 41 seconds -... More

Having been here before and had a great time I was hoping for more, our soup was great, fresh and flavorful. We split the HMB Louie and the Blackened Snapper both we fresh but on the flavor scale they were so - so. Our daughter ordered off the kids menu and we were pleased to see it was not your... More
