We go there every time we are in town. Great specials on appetizers and really good wines by the glass. Wines are on display with nitrogen infusion to insure freshness. Sit at the bar. The bar staff are very attentive.

Gorgeous atmosphere. We had a blackened steak with blu cheese and bacon crumbles and a fresh Spring mix salad. Prices on the high end but not unexpected due to location and food quality. Definitely a great. experience, and incredible meal.

Recently had dinner with our family. Very cool location. Had reservations and seated right away. Informed server that there were 2 people in our family with nut allergies and he was able to get appetizers made without nuts. Our meals were all delicious. However server rarely came back to check on us after we ordered (restaurant was rather busy for... More

Yum yum yum. Reasonable prices for high quality seafood, flavorful dishes, and great service. I had the seafood paella and my husband the Australian seabass. He was very happy with his seabass but as a seafood lover he wishes that he got the seafood paella as well. It's a beautiful seafood arrangement that I'm still thinking about and it's been... More

Friends took us to the Watermarc for dinner last year, and we were so pleased that we decided to try it again this year on our own. The food and the service were, once again, very good. They have an extensive wine list, both by the glass and by the bottle. I selected a glass of pinot noir, and the... More

My wife and I happened upon this place, drawn in by happy hour small plate deals. They were well above expectations: We had the garlic sizzling shrimp, which had 9 large shrimp, more than many full meals! My wife got the zucchini blossoms - yes blossoms - filled with homemade ricotta and it was divine. Never had anything as subtle... More

Thought I had eaten good everywhere in Laguna but watermarc just became one of my new favorites. Our server Matt was funny and knowledgable. All of his recommendations were excellent. Burrata cheese with heirlooms always a winner. Almond stuffed dates wrapped in bacon melt in your mouth zucchini blossoms cooked perfect. Ahi skewers so refreshing and delicious. The homemade chips... More

We enjoyed a dinner for 4 last night at Watermarc in Laguna Beach, well situated 1 block south of Main Beach on PCH. I have eaten at several other Small Plates venues in S. CA and all of them have such loud ambient noise that I no longer dine there. I wasn't expecting much from Watermarc in the way of... More

I went to Watermarc for dinner "solo" and I think it's more of a place you need to go with a dining partner or larger group. The noise level is high. Despite the crowd, my server was excellent. She was attentive, professional - but she had a great sense of humor and was always checking back to see how I... More

Service was outstanding and menu eclectic and interesting. Not super formal -- but appropriate for a beach. More formal places weren't as good or as interesting menus. Great wine selection by the bottle and by the glass. Make sure you try some of their grazing menu options.
