Our food and service were both good. Great breadsticks too. We split the entrees and had plenty of food. Our waiter was very direct and no nonsense, so know what you want! We would go back.

We all loved this cafe in Murphy's, CA on our way to visit Mercer Cavern. They have a fabulous wine selection and the server was very knowledgable and helped us choose local wines that were perfect. Alchemy has an "early diner" special - which is great in Murphys because it's more of a day town. It included a lovely red pepper soup, entree and dessert. Local wine list. Very enjoyable.

crab macaroni & cheese TO DIE FOR!!!! a must have - so creamy & delicious. love the wine bar as well.

The food is good but nothing spectacular. You can generally count on all the dishes to be good just not as refined as say V Restaurant. Thai chicken salad is a good choice. Very good wines by the glass.
