Yes, a lot of locals frequent Sherman's, in my mind that does not equate to great, millions drink Coke it hardly translates too= "Coke is great, we should all drink it as well". Been to Sherman's at least 4 or 5 times...honestly it's average, nothing truly memorable about their breakfast or lunch. Kinda of bland...boring! It's always crowded, one always... More

Been to the Carnegie in NY and this was no Carnegie. Sandwhich was good. But for NY Carnegie sandwich prices, it was not as large, nor as good. Staff was nice, pastries looked great. I was really looking forward to a great sandwich. But $21.00 for (1) sandwich, a coke and a tea. seemed a bit much.

We had Sherman's recommended to us by multiple people prior to going to PS, so we stopped in to grab a sandwich. True to what everyone said, their deli sandwiches are much like what you would get in a good NYC deli--fresh meats sliced thin and piled high. A half sandwich is probably sufficient for lunch AND dinner for many... More

Anytime you read a review that has the title "Local's Favorite," you know it has to be good. This deli and restaurant is a Palm Springs tradition. And because the locals flock to it, so do the tourists. Don't miss it while you're in Palm Springs. But on weekends, don't go at noon ... go at 11:45, or 1:15. Otherwise... More

Ate breakfast here three days in a row and dinner once. The food was uniformly well prepared and an excellent value. Not a bad thing on the menu. The sandwiches are truly overstuffed unlike what other places advertise. the Salads are fresh, the baked goods are what you would expect from a Jewish style deli. Watch out for the cinnamon... More

This place is the closest thing to a New York Dei you will find on the West Coast. The Pastrami Sandwich is a mound of meat and melts in your mouth. Let's not forget the dessert. The Napoleon was on steroids. This thing was was huge it could feed two people easy. Ivy our Waitress was awesome. I have never... More

I always come here when visiting PS. With the exception of the hosts who always seem to have a stick up their [--] or act like ones, this place is great. If you like friend chicken, they run it as a special on Friday nights. I've never really had anything bad here. Supposedly, Elvis was a frequent customer!

Breakfast was perfectly horrible. They even managed to ruin the side potatoes. It's just a greasy spoon in disguise as some famous Deli. Not.
