A scenic view - I mean a view. Probably one of the most enjoyable combinations of atmosphere and enjoyable dinning anywhere. Just a wonderful experience. Make sure to walk around the grounds.

We have been eating lunch here for many years. The staff are wonderful and attentive, and the views are great from anywhere in the room. The problem this time was surprising as food is usually tops. We both had Bento Boxes, but the food was bland with sauces indistinguishable one from the other. Maybe just an off day...

We dined there for our 5 yr anniversary during the food and wine fest. We watched the bag piper outside play and that was very cool before dinner. Last night we celebrated our anniversary here with friends and really enjoyed it. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. We were given a shell necklace so they knew we were celebrating and had nice touches on our menu and dessert congratulating us. The food was superb, especially enjoyed the shrimp and beef roll appetizer and the recommended sea bass... More

I've traveled here twice just to go to dinner...a 120 mile drive! The view is impeccable. The food is always amazing. Come a little early to enjoy a cocktail outdoors over looking the ocean.

I have been to Roy's in Seattle and in Newport Beach CA. I believe that this Roys and the one in Seattle had better food. For this one in particular, when you add the wonderful location and view to it, it makes it one of our favorite restaurants for our Carmel visits. Service is always great here and their cocktails... I think Roy's is a chain so I didn't have much of an opinion about going here but I loved it. Super friendly and helpful staff and a great range of different and really good fish options. Sushi appetizers were a good and different. We ate at the Italian place too and I thought Roy's was better.

the atmosphere is wonderful, the food amazing, best night ever. go early for drinks and watch the Piper. Can't say enough good things about this place.
