We often stop here for lunch on Sundays - just a pleasant, casual spot to have a quick bite that's above the average fast food. Very pleasant staff, good quality food and nice options. We usually sit outside and people watch, and all in we keep coming back.

This small restaurant has a great selection of comfort food soups and flat bread sandwiches for every taste. Plenty of food and reasonable prices, cafeteria style service in a pleasant and convenient downtown SLO location close to shopping and entertainment. Grab a bite after the movies or a day in town.

Urbane Cafe is new to SLO. This is a great place for a quick lunch when shopping downtown. I love their salads.

Spent the weekend in Paso Robles, CA and found this cafe on the way home through San Luis Obispo. awesome gourmet sandwiches and soups at a decent price! The sandwiches even came with a little side salad! I had the caprese sandwich, Husband had a pastrami and Child had the tortilla soup! Sooooo recommend this place!

The San Luis Obispo cafe has covered outdoor dining in a corner setting (but only 7 or 8 outside tables with the rest inside). My favorite sandwich is the Club Sandwich. My wife and I stumbled upon Urbane Cafe while driving to San Francisco. It was their soft opening and they were training the staff (late October '11). Luckily for us that day the food was free. We thought it was our lucky day. Then after trying the food we thought it was almost criminal that we didn't have to pay.... More

We were on a trip up to Carmel and stopped into San Luis Obispo for lunch. Saw this place on the corner and tried it out. Very good sandwiches soups and salads. The service was very friendly and the orders came out really fast. I would definitely come back often.
