Olsen's was the most popular among locals. They clearly have the most variety of pastry, by far. They ship even hard to pack items such as kransekage/kransekakke anywhere, even to Houston. The pastry is very good. The staff is not as friendly, but is okay. Their location is awesome. It is easy to sit down and have coffee too. A... More

My bear claw was just excellent so I had to get another for the next morning. Wife's custard Danish was very good too. Good coffee, friendly service.

We came here hoping to have some good pastries, but they were rather disappointing. Among three of us we ordered one Napoleon, one marzapan log, one cake, and one wafer cookie thing. We were all very unimpressed. We felt that some of them didn't even meet the okay standard. I also bought some butter cookies to go and although the... More

Everything I tasted was amazing! It was extremely delicious! But the service was horrible and the staff was rude! I went back twice despite the service because the pastries were so good! I think a bit over priced but still delicious none the less. And I wanted to see if the service first time was a one time thing... Nope!... More

Between a friend and I, we bought and sampled many pastries. They were all so yummy! The huge lemon boat was fantastic as well as the blueberry strudel. I had to try the cross bun and almond tart. Almond tart was very tasty

All the bakeries in Solvang are great. This one is AWESOME. The epitome of Danish Pastry. Always take a bucket of cookies to share at work.

We really shopped around for the best Bakery in Solvang, and I really think this is it. The Danish waffles were so good that it's hard to describe them. The pastry portion had flaky layers like a croissant, but they were light on the inside and a little crispy on the outside with sugar, but still soft. It has a... More
