I have been coming to steamworks for years and never tire of the fun, lively atmospere and great food. It is a great place to unwind any day of the week. There is nothing better than grabbing some yummy sliders, fries, and a beer! It is also a great family restaurant and our kids enjoy throwing peanuts shells on the... More

My first visit to Steamworks a block off main street Durango exceeded expectations. The variety and quality of beers on tap is outstanding, but it is the menu that keeps me coming back - I haven't tried everything yet! Ample seating in well-planned spaces, including summer patio, accommodates families as well as the pub crowd. Employees are enthusiastic and attentive.... More

The bloody mary was very good, but whoa, make sure you don't have to do too much afterward. It was very strong. I wasn't excited about the bbq salt around the rim. I would have preferred regular sea salt. The smoked salmon app was very good, as was the crab. It was messy, but worth it. Others in my group... More

Very informal casual restaurant and bar where very good food and beer is taken very seriously! The service is friendly and efficient and children are also welcomed.

This place serves dinner later than the others, and you get great beer to boot. The "Anasazi Enchiladas" raised doubts in my mind because of the fairy-tale name, but they were not only good but really, really spicy. I drank "The Conductor," which was a very good I.P.A. indeed. But Steamworks also offers a T.I.P.A. (triple IPA?) on the list,... More

Stopped here for lunch with brother and his wife while visiting them. Off main st but quiet atmosphere at lunch. We had the Greek pizza. Not sure what we would get but greatly surprised it was a really good pizza and very much Greek style. Brother had had a different pizza ( it was spicy) and very good also. Do... More

We chose this place because my husband loves beer. We drove from Cortez to check out a possible ski destination and just to look around. The restaurant is large with casual atmosphere with the brewery operations in the middle, which is enclosed with glass. We sat at the bar which seemed to be filled with many locals discussing business and... More

Free peanuts, shells on the floor. Chalk for the ‘kids.’ Art on the floor. Beer and food were good. Disappointed by the service but is was really busy.

Great beer and food and service. Nothing to dislike, except the fact it gets crowded. But it's huge and the hustle and bustle adds to the ambience..
