My fiancé took me here for Valentine's Day, and it was a great experience. The food is amazing, our server was very sweet and attentive to our needs. It is one of the pricier places in town, but worth it. Can't wait to go back!

If you would like to indulge in an evening with your spouse or date, and enjoy a wonderful chateaubriand, don't miss the Mahogany Grille! Chief Safari comes to your table to personally cook your dinner complete with flammed vegetables. Eveyone else in the restaurant watches with jealous eyes wishing they had ordered this chateau that melts in your mouth.... oh,... More

Located in the Strater Hotel, this is a fine dining establishment. The service is quite excellent and the food is very good. The menu has a fair variety, well prepared and well presented.

Charged twice on our credit card! We've called several times, talked to a manager, and still can't seem to have it resolved. We could pay our gas bill for a couple of months with what they double charged us! Obviously we are very frustrated with the customer service. Do not recommend based solely on their treatment of this situation.

The Mahogany Grille is a beautiful Victorian restaurant in downtown Durango. The food is consistently excellent. Try the Bananas Foster for dessert.

Enroute to Sundance in Park City we stopped for dinner in Durango, CO. We were pleasantly by complementary aperitif. A very nice start. We ordered minestrone and mixed greens fig salad which were excellent. Entrees were baked salmon with wonderful sauce and a vegetable strudel. The former was very savory and latter OK, but an innovative dish. This kitchen tastes... More

We had high expectations of this place and it let us down. Your server greets you with a sample of their signature drink for the evening. It was good, so my husband and I ordered one. My brother in law thought they have a full bar and could make anything we wanted, so he ordered an el presidente and my... More
