The Rose is small but the food is very good. The pagosa toast is what our daughter gets each time we vacation in Pagaosa Springs. It is made with texas toast dipped in egg and fried. Generous servings. They have a special posted each day.

Always feel like you are known. Greeted so cheerily. Very low key, but fast food service. Good cook. Nice variety on menu. Go at least once a week.

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Good home cooked meals and good coffee. We have only been here for breakfast but always go back when we are in town. It seems to be were the locals go.

Best for breakfast or lunch when the locals meet-to-eat. Friendly no-nonsense service ("Don't sit there, Honey! That's just a bench seat. Over there is much more comfortable, a cushion and everything." Watch out or you may...

Liked Good breakfast at a fair price. Nothing fancy. Clean, good service, in center of town. I would recommend
Ate breakfast here almost every morning on our ski trip. Good location on main street in downtown Pagosa Springs. Really liked the breakfast burrito and potatoes.
All breakfast cooked items were dripping oil. Hash browns, and eggs too.Yuck! Service was mediocre at best.
This is a small cafe with great food. The servings are very generous. The Pagosa Toast is a have-to-try item. It is french toast dipped in pancake batter and deep fried. Serving so large, I could not finish it.
We decided to try The Rose for breakfast. Big mistake! It was just (maybe) a cut above IHop. Terrible.
We all had hash browns with our breakfast. We all asked that they serve them crispy as we hate mushy ones. They were crispy alright, like burned to a crisp. I ordered the quiche. I crunched (gross) eggshell in the first...
