I like Archie's for friendly gatherings but the food is simple and average. It's a nice place to socialize.
Their wings are excellent. There blue cheese dressing is the best we ever tasted. Their downfall...the beer is not ice cold.
First I will say the food wasnt bad, but boy it was dirty! the tables were covered in a dust, like from the ceiling, the rug on the floor was not only filthy but had debris all over it, like it needed to be vacumned, dont know how noone that works there didnt notice it! ,we were in a window... More
Archie Moore's is set in the Wallingford Town center. It is a very new England like pub. The bartenders here are very friendly and attentive and the wings are the best around! I do not feel their sandwiches are anything special but they have many choices including vegetarian options. Don't get me wrong, they are good but just nothing special.... More

OK- I don't eat chicken any more but I still crave their wings and now I love their buffalo style calamari! Delicious!
I have been here more times than I can count. Any of the nacho platters will give you good bang for your buck. Dishes here aren't bad but they aren't great either--everything about this place reeks of average. I usually only come here at night to meet up with friends at the bar. The bartenders are excellent and know how... More

Nothing great but nothing wrong with it either. Waitress was the same as the food: nothing special but nothing wrong with her either. My only complaint... More
I stopped in to Archie Moore's after a show at the Oakdale. The tavern is on the smaller side with about a dozen or so tightly fit tables on one size and a bar on the other. The menu was sizable, with good selections of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and of course WINGS. We ordered the wings as an app and... More
