I know the tourists like this place but I found the food very disappointing in taste. The wait staff were friendly though.
We gave this place 2 chances and both times we were let down. The 1st time we ordered the grouper which was not grouper, very overpriced and fishy tasting. Our 2nd trip we tried the whitefish grilled sandwich and it was just a piece of crapy fish on a bun with lettuce and tomato, had to ask for some kind... More
Great dip. I have gone here multiple times. Great fish sandwich. They run out of fish dip a lot. Thats the only bad thing I have to say. Otherwise good prices.
our waitress said her name was Helen. terrible. cold food. long wait . and no apology. and the place was not busy! and manager was "busy" I believe out back smoking?? whatever, I wont be back.
This is a very typical Florida Fish House. A lot of fried foods, cooked nicely, cold beer, music and friendly staff. My favorite is the AYCE fried fish, lightly breaded and perfectly cooked.
The food was fairly good, the staff were friendly, the prices were fair, and the decor had a bit of charm. But our visit took well over an hour just to get a basket of fish & chips.
We were in Cape Coral on an errand and decided to try some place new. We happened by the Twisted Conch and had a nice dinner of shrimp and scallops in a basket with fries and cole slaw. The value was really good, the food was fresh and hot. The dining outside was beautiful.
This is a great little place to go to sit outside, enjoy live music and a few drinks with friends, The food is lacking in appeal, though. The soups are good, typical bar appetizers. We haven't ordered regular meals here in a while after a lackluster meal a while ago.
Recommended by a local, we went for the "$1 draft beers and Cape Corals best wings" lunch. Drafts were $1.50 (still pretty darn reasonable but you have to ask about the pricing as it isn't listed on the menu for the beer and different ones are different prices). Food was very good but overall experience was tainted by poor service.... More
This is basically a bar with good local fried fish baskets, served fast. One of our fellow guests had a bird of prey on her arm, which added to the character!
