I stop in for blackened scallops and crab soup every time I'm in Florida about 8 times a year. When the weathers good the porch is my favorite.
This seafood restaurant has been in business for many years -- a very good sign for Florida! The seafood specials change daily with what is fresh caught. They usually have at least one Creole style dish on the menu. I live in the area and have been here often. The food is always good. The atmosphere is relaxed. As with... More
This is the sibling restaurant to t he two Maggie Mae's restaurants and where we got the introduction. We were in town moving into a new home and staying at the near by Marriott Suites. After the first night (great burger, fries for me fish for my wife), we went back the next four nights - then took the whole... More
Nothing fancy but the small plate selections of blackened grouper and mahi-mahi are good. Located in a strip shopping center in the high rent district of Sand Key where you might expect a little more flair.
Went on a Tuesday for Cajun night. The gumbo had lots of goodies but still seemed to lack that flavor of New Orleans but my Mom loved it. The fried chicken was delicious. Crispy and juicy and a huge portion. Happy hour on drinks until 8. Can't wait until next week to try the catfish and crawfish etoufee
