This was a great place that offered good value authentic Cuban food. Staff were attentive and the service was speedy.
The food is not bad- especially if you stick to the Cuban standards (media noche, ropa vieja, frijoles negros, the fish). The atmosphere is terrific because this is a Cuban diner and no one's concept, end of story. It is still a place where a wide mix of locals go and the later you go, the more you appreciate that... After the 3rd person recommended this place to us, we took a $14 cab ride from our hotel to Puerto Sagua for lunch. Masa de Puerco and a cuban sandwich were both very good. It is a like a cuban diner with lots of locals and tourists. Atmosphere is non-existent which only adds to the ambiance and the feeling that... More
A great little restaurant for cuban cuisine. It was fortunately 2 blocks from our hotel. Atmosphere of a coffee shop. Huge amounts of food and a great price. My husband ordered the pork stew with rice and beans…Delicious. I had fried grouper and salad and french fries. We were stuffed! A must visit!
We were lucky to find Puerto Sagua since Miami is the mecca of domestic Cuban restaurants. Spanish is primarily spoken here so we knew we were in the right place as soon as we walked in the front door. Our waitress spoke enough English & I spoke enough Spanish to order an authentic Cuban meal. The place was filled with... More
It matched the expectations I had based on the reviews I had looked up before going. Friendly staff, good variety of hot sauces and adds, good food. It worth to pay a visit during your staying in SOBE.
Dining solo on business is rarely fun... The sidewalk tables, the high energy, the packed tables, and the other good reviews were promising. But when touting the authenticity and quality of your (Cuban) food... It better be good. And it was. But not great. Salty does not equal seasoning and flavorful. Sorry... But average I'm afraid.
Went there for a "authentic cuban" food as recommended by our concierge at the hotel . We never had cuban food so i cant tell you if its authentic or not, but can tell you the meal was delicious. The service is very friendly and fast and at the end you dont get charge the usual 20% added tip thats... More
Our concierge JC at the Park Central hotel recommended this spot for breakfast. Wow! It was great. Their grits were off the chain. Their orange juice was fresh squeezed and it was soo good. We ate here a couple times during our stay and it was great each time. The prices were excellent. Be sure to try their french fries... More
