Hole int he walll...which I prefer often. Lobster bisque was recommended, but it was REALLY salty. I had the fried oyster, which were good. I think I should have ordered fish, as the table nbext to me raved about their dinner...next time

A very small place, not a outstanding location, but very good fried food. Had the fried shrimp and clam strips. The clam strips were ok, the shrimp were wonderful very large and cooked to perfection. The service was fine not real fast but with only one person working the floor you could not expect any more. Our meals were served... More

This place is small and in a strip shopping center. The service was good. The food was ok. I had basa fingers and shrimp. All deep fried. It was more like tempura the batter was so thick. They had a decent selection on the menu. Lots of customers. The price was right. I would go once and look for another... More

Right on the beach with a choice of sitting outside or inside. Had the grouper sand which that was great. Also had the calamari which was perfect. The only issue is you have to use the public beach bathroom. They are building a huge additional which looks like it will be terrific.

my husband and I stopped at Sharks for lunch again today. what can I say--except wonderful. the food is fantastic-the service unbelievable, The place was packed and only one waitress, who did a fantastic job at serving all that were there. I hate giving restaurants a good review because that means I will never be able to get in again... More

Don't let the area or surroundings deter you, delightful experience. Huge portions of fish, cooked to perfection and very tasty. I love coleslaw and am often disappointed with the pre-made junk many establishments try to pass as coleslaw....NOT here....lloved even the homemade coleslaw.... Must must must must!!! Try the lobster bisque, owner makes it fresh everyday. Wow! Only caution...if they... More

A busy, small, local restaurant. The portion of fish was very good size. The coleslaw was fantastic. The meals come with 2 sides and I pass on the fries and get 2 slaws. I visited twice during my 2 weeks stay in the city and will definitely go back next time I'm in the city. I noticed a lot of... More

Shark's is a Port Charlotte icon and has been around for years. The original location was demolished by Hurricane Charley in 2004 but they quickly added a North Port location and later the new Port Charlotte location as well. It's on an access road and has plenty of parking and the food is consistently good. I had the fish and... More

I would have given 5 circles if they had fresh cut fries. Don't understand a fish and chip restaurant using frozen fries. I substituted hush puppies which were really good. The haddock was fresh and flaky and the batter thin and crisp. My coconut shrimp were delicious. Not fancy but great food!
