Our first visit to St. Augustine. We heard how many great Spanish restaurants were here. We stopped at the first place we found & started with the chips & salsa a beer & margarita. Just fair. We ordered an app bc we were not impressed with the menu. Just ok. Then I proceeded to use trip advisor & this place... More

Nice place for dinner, and great service. We had the cochinito (pork) and sangria. The sangria was great. Not too sweet at all, just fruity with a dry red wine taste, as it should be. The pork was great, and the side dishes were good too. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the view during sundown. Just a great place in... More

We enjoyed are time there. We ordered huevos rancheros, apocalypto sandwich and pancakes. All food was great and brought in a timely manner. I do agree that some of the food needs salt. but better to be under stalted than over salted. The staff was very friendly toward children and even separated their food on separate plates for us without... More

Casa Maya was recommended to us by staff at the Inn on Charlotte, but when we arrived at 5pm the restaurant was closed despite signs saying it was open from mid morning to 10pm. We returned at 6pm to find the restaurant open and chose to sit outside in the block paved courtyard. Our server Gavin was laid back but... More

A friend recommended this place, and now we will, too. Went for lunch and found a bright, airy restaurant. Excellent food, attentive service, decent prices and good tap beers. Food selection seemed more South American than Mexican---a good change of pace. This place deserves a visit.

We visited Casa Maya on the Friday before Memorial Day for dinner. First, the restaurant itself is open, light and airy, and the staff make you feel welcome. Sina was our server and he explained for us the differences in the red vs. the white sangria. We ordered the white sangria and guacamole with chips to start. We enjoyed the... More

Special crusted redfish was great over half our group has it and all agreed. Grouper with corn salsa was so very good. Not too heavy

The name of the restaurant may mislead some into believing it is "Mexican" cuisine. However, it is, I think more of a South American/Central American style of cooking. The food was tasty. My wife and daughter got the Veggie Empanadas. I got the daily special, grilled mahi mahi over rice with a mango salsa and veggies. My portion of Mahi... More

We travel to St. Augustine regularly and Casa Maya has been our favorite breakfast spot for years. The food has always been great, but the place was small and cramped so you couldn't count on getting a decent table. Not a problem anymore. Sometime last year they moved into a beautiful spacious new building! Plenty of room outside in the... More

Was going to the Alligator Farm Zoo and so went to Trip Advisor to see if there were any good breakfast spots in St. Augustine. We traveled about an hour to get there. We arrived at around 8:30 to find a very quiet city.it cost a dollar to park in the lot next to the restaurant. We were so surprised... More
