It was not open when we last went for dinner and there was a realtor sign in front. What else can I say?
Was told they closed for good on Sunday June 9, 2013. Heard a lot of good things and was looking to try. Too bad .
We chanced by and selected Rodeo based upon the variety of selections on their posted menu (Southern and Southwestern cuisine!?). It was a most pleasant surprise. Being a little early for dinner time, the restaurant was not busy but the interior mood, subtle - not hokey Western, was inviting. Our server was delightful and cheerfully took time explaining the entrees... More
I had dinner with 2 other friends last night. It was a rainy night, so the hostess cleverly set us by the front door like for all other patrons to make the place look busy. That's why I put average for overall and service. However, the waiter was very good and attentive. He made good recondition describing them as he... More
Went there on Sun. late p.m. The meals were bogo which we did not realize until looking at the menu. Always indecisive about their choices as I do not care for "sweet" flavor with my foods as a good part of menu has this issue (molasses, etc.}. I ordered a house wine which did not smell or taste right. Waiter... More
The peaceful ambiance, the excellent service, the varied menu, the reasonable prices, the great drink selection, the plentiful portions, the gustatory satisfaction ... all made this establishment top-notch... so much so that we made sure we went back again within the week that we were visiting Fort Lauderdale! Kudos to the Rodeo crew! We shall return...again and again!
Good food at very reasonable prices. Very nice comfortable and stylish decor, with a nice bar as well. Sunday has 2 for 1 dinners. Great skirt steak, black beans, chili con queso, cat fish, jambalaya pasta. Servers always professional and attentive.
Thanks to Groupon a discount site I purchased a (Groupon) the food was really excellent, I had chicken that was so good it is hard to describe, and the vegetables were superb. BUT! when it came time to pay, our waitperson had no idea what to do with the voucher. In a nutshell he refused to accept it. I paid... More
Rodeo is restaurant in the centre of Wilton Manors opposite the Police Station. The food is south western inspired, but there is a range of options. The best dish I think is their Southern Meatloaf, which was moist and delicious. Prices are good and the portions not overly generous. Good to try once, but not somewhere to go too often.... More
Here's the deal. My partner and I spent five evenings in Wilton Manors and tried five different eating establishments (six if I include the 2am burger at Shaun's Breakfast Bar) and all were of excellent quality but Rodeo deserves a mention for it's fantastic menu. The food has a heavy southern US/deep south slant and it reflects superbly in the... More
