This place was recommended by our hotel staff. We were seated immediately. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Service was great. There was a waiter that was serenading customers for a tip; he was good. Who cares if it's "for tourists". It was recommended and it was great.

Started visiting Bennies over 10 years ago. Its history and atmosphere is one of a kind on the island. Hand cut steaks and seafood are very good. We recently went on the Friday night oyster roast and had a great time.
