I had my first latte in this place yesterday. It was so delicious. Not too creamy, not bitter and very smooth. I love it. Thanks guys. Keep up the good work.

Amazing coffee house. Whether it be the Espresso, the delicate and perfectly steamed milk, or the perfectly timed pour overs they hit everything right on. Yes you may have to wait, yes you may be looked down on a bit if you ask a question, but it's worth it. They try to make sure everything they do is done to...

Although I am a fan of Starbucks, this is a more original, non-commercialized experience. Great dedication to serving a cup of coffee! The staff is very knowledgeable about their product and the macchiato I ordered looked beautiful! Very strong espresso but it's exactly the pick me up I was looking for!
I look for good coffee wherever I go. After arriving from Vancouver which has VERY good coffee, this is a real disappointment.....
Both my latte & son's hot chocolate looked very elegant. The shop smells terrific. The staff is helpful and friendly. But honestly I felt somewhat disappointed in the lack of flavor. We hang out at the north Broadway store. Love both their coffee and the baked goodies. Great staff and fun neighborhood atmosphere.
You care about coffee? So do they. You want a really good cup of coffee (not just one of those mega-sized behemoth buckets of poorly roasted, over flavoured, dull as dishwater abominations?) They can do it.
They specialise in good coffee well done. A small selection of pastries/food, but you come for the coffee not the food. I went back...

I go just for the beauty of the lattes. You have to dine in and drink it in a real mug, just for the atmosphere. Can be long lines for service, and the servers can be a little snooty for someone ordering for the first time. Be patient with us newbies and we'll be back. Was really a great cup...

Living in the Northwest, I sought out Intelligentsia for my caffeine fix while visiting Chicago. The coffee reminded my of my hometown roasters, Backporch and Stumptown, and I felt at home. The coffee is not cheap though. Prices were higher in the big city then they are in Oregon. $3.25 for an Americano!
Intelligentsia has some of the best coffee around! I have friends who literally travel to Chicago just to get this coffee! Look it up when you are in Chicago!
