We had a short wait for a table on a Monday night...just enough time for one drink. It was busy and buzzy. The service was good and helpful, and the small plates we shared were tasty, fresh and interesting. Inside were long shared tables, but we sat on the covered patio at a smaller table. It was noisy and tables...

Second time for me. Was here two years ago and came back because I remembered the food. I was very happy to find that the food was still as good! Awesome in fact. yes, it was cramped in there, and noisy, but the food was AMAZING. The charred cauliflower and the JLT (pork jowl) was scrumptious! Service was great too,...

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We were given a 2.5 hour wait time and ended up waiting the entire 2.5 hours. After the wait, we were placed at an empty table that could fit around 10 people. A few minutes later, another couple was placed directly next to us, even though the rest of...

Loved the food and atmosphere, stopped in for a quick bite from being shopping all day. The chef was in the kitchen that overlooks the dining space. He took the time to talk us and tell us a little bit about the concept.
I guess my review is going to fly in the face of the majority who rank this as #1 in Chicago.
When I went there I found the place to be cramped and tiny. There were couples sitting outside visibly shivering from the cruel Chicago wind. The tables were so close together it was hard to see how this might...

After walking for hours on the Magnificent Mile on May 16th, our tired feet stumbled into this unique place. Prior to this review, we had no idea it was rated #1 of all the Chicago restaurants. We ordered a half bottle of Greek wine which was very excellent. Milk fed pork shoulder with mashed potatoes and gravy was awesome -...

Really loved this place. The atmosphere is so unique and different. Perfect for a trip away from it all. Most importantly though the food was amazing. I love to try new things and this place is perfect for that and perfect for sharing. The wine menu is extensive and you are guarenteed to find options you have never tried before....

We went on a rainy night. We sat in a big table in the tent because it was almost full. The service was high speed and not warm. It seemed they wanted to close as soon as possible. The food came so quickly that we could not believe it. Maybe somebody else had given up that dish. The portions are small...

Great experience. Small restaurant. It was packed at 3pm on Wednesday. Hundreds of wines. Let your server recommend things - very unique menu. Not for kids. Best peach Lambic beer I've had - though the glass was really tiny!
