Description: Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab is the culmination of a partnership between Lettuce Entertain You and Joe's Stone Crab, the legendary seafood restaurant of Miami Beach. Opened in Chicago in the fall of 2000, Joe's features an extensive selection of seafood, flown in fresh daily, to complement the world's finest Florida Stone Crab claws. Joe's has quickly built a reputation as one of Chicago's top steakhouses, featuring the signature 16 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon and 22 oz. New York Strip Steak. Matched with Joe's famous side dishes, dinner only gets better when capped with a slice of key lime pie. Enjoy a generous cocktail in the bustling lounge or the tuxedo-clad service of the clubby dining room and you'll understand why dinner at Joe's has quickly become one of Chicago's favorite social engagements.

Our server took at least 20-25 minutes to even acknowledge us (a nod of the head in our direction or some menus shortly after we sat down would have gone a LONG way) and when I tried to enlist the bartender's help in getting our order in he was dismissive. We talked to the manager who was as insincere as... More

Don't confuse Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab with "Joe's Crab Shack." Refined dining with tuxedo-clad waiters rules here, but this is NOT a stuffy, over-priced restaurant. Yes, the Stone Crab Claws ARE pricey, but there are many others options that shine. My waiter,Darren, was friendly, professional and knew the menu food. In fact, as I was dining alone,... More

Do make a reservation unless you want to eat in the lounge. I had the sole, and it was deboned by the waiter. I had the spinach with the fish and it was very good. The price was around $42 for just the fish, and with the spinach it amounted to close to $51.

Expensive, but not too bad at lunch. The crab claws are a must. The service was excellent. Good decor and attention to detail.

We enjoyed this restaurant immensely. As you'd expect for a place like this, the food was outstanding - we particularly enjoyed the stone crab, king crap, halibut, and the unexpected treat, the seasonal roast corn. What really made the night was our waiter, Oz, who was comfortable, friendly, made great suggestions, and even gave us a few other restaurants to... More

We booked a table for Friday night but Joe's is always overcrowded. There is one reason for it: the food is great. We all asked for seafood - crab cake, sea scallops, lobster and fish. They were cooked perfectly and tasty. Chicago is by the lake not by the sea but real fresh seafood. The staff is more than professional. Everything... More

Delicious, fresh seafood and steaks. We had the stone crab, 24 oz dry aged bone in ribeye, lobster, and filet. Everything was perfectly executed and the service staff outstanding. we received a free dessert for our anniversary with candles for us to wish upon. Nice touch.

I went with a very large group. Every ordered something different - fish, poultry, meat choices. Every person raved about their meal. I LOVED the crunchy on the outside, silky on the inside crab cakes. TIP: Dessert servings are super-sized. Plan on sharing.... (or not!)

We celebrated my husband's birthday here. It was excellent and I would recommend everyone try it out. Delicious food! You have to have the cold stone crab that they are known for. It's cold crab that they pre crack for you so you do not have to work to get to the meat. The main room is kind of loud,... More

The waiter was quite bossy! He talked my friend out of what she wanted to eat! She ordered the most "popular" dish which had prawns in them. I ordered just prawns the prawns were either overlooked or old as they were tough. I ended up with hives and my friend had food poisoning. Would not recommend this place
