We went here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. It is a fairly small, unnassuming restaurant, but the food could not have been better. My wife said that their fettucine was the best she's ever had! Also, make sure to save room for the tiramisu. Since it is a smaller, packed dining room, it does get a little... More

They desperately need to replace their very lumpy and worn out seating but the food was delicious, original and absolutely exquisite. One of the best meals I've ever had in my life.

I recently ate at Cafe Lucci for a business dinner. The food was excellent and it had a wonderful atmosphere. Even though we had a very large group the service was great. I had pasta with scallops that was very delicious. There was fresh bread with olive oil, garlic, etc. and I had 2 appetizers ( gnocchi & a crabcake)... More

Last night I went to Cafe Lucci for the first time had a delicious meal, great atmosphere and great service until the end of the meal when the bus boy lost my leftovers that he was suppose to bag up for me to take home. At the time, we were going to a concert and needed to leave, but the management... More

I have driven by this spot for years, and finally stopped in based on the reviews at TA. I am so glad I did! Really fresh, well prepared dishes. The host (owner?) suggest wine that was perfect. The service was friendly and efficient, but not over bearing. They also mentioned that if there was something we wanted that wasn't on... More

This is not one of our regular stops even though it is close by where we live and we had not been here in a while so we thought we'd give it another shot. When you walk in the place it smells wonderful - truly wonderful. The dining room is charming. Our waiter was - just OK. He didn't do... More

Good place for family dining (early) or with friends -- always packed on weekends. A bit crowded but food is reliably good, service is usually fine and co-owner Bobby is a great wine selector (excellent cellar for mid-price suburban italian restautant). Regulars at bar but it is tucked away. Casual upscale italian fare, not catering to lower end red-sauce crowd.... More

Cafe Lucci does a marvelous job of pairing wine with food. Variety of authentic Italian dishes combined with modern flair. Fish selections are outstanding. Portions are generous.

That's their motto. And its correct on all counts. Very creative italian dishes including many seafood dishes. Specials every day and a very nice wine list. We are regulars!

Cafe Lucci is a hidden treasure, it's on Milwaukee Ave. in Glenview but it seems like it would be in Niles, Il. When you walk in the atmosphere is dim and sexy, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. They also have a chalkboard with daily specials that I usually can't understand but they explain everything... More
