Melt in your mouth! When they are hot/warm. I don't know when a person would pick these up and eat them and say they are dry?? But They must be missing some taste buds. Stand in line YES! Wait for them? YES! Put up with the busy rude counter people? YES! They are that GOOD!

This bakery is a little hole in the wall but boy can they make doughnuts! Whenever friends come in from out of town we always have to make a trip to Long's to share this little gem and their delights. Always a favorite with everyone, young and old alike.

I truly dont understand all the hype of Longs Bakery. I could buy the same bakery goods at a Walmart. But perhaps thats just me, although Im pretty sure their donuts have always been dry when I tasted them.

Best (yeast) glazed donuts in the world!! Completely worth the wait in line for these! Do not miss this old school donut shop. They put Krispy Kream to shame.

I dislike that they are still a cash only establishment but that's all I disliked. I have been going here since I was a child and no matter what it is still the best donut I have ever eaten.

We have a tradition where we order the glazed yeast donuts for race weekend. We order 6 boxes and boy are they good! My husband usually sneaks a few before bringing the donuts home for our race fan guests. Well worth the trip for the north side.

Never stale because they sell so quickly after being made. Glaze doughnuts melt in your mouth. An Indy westside tradition.
