During a class at UND the whole group went to O'Rourke's for a meal. It was terrific! My shepherd's pie was excellent and the upside down apple pie was very tasty. Do not miss this place!

Honestly, the worst I've ever experienced. My friend and I went there the other night- she's been 21 since the fall, as have I. After having her ID checked at the door she was admitted without a problem. At the bar, she was asked to show her ID again which she thought was a little weird but did anyways. After... More

Was in South Bend for work and had some time to kill at night. This bar was only 2 blocks down from my hotel and you kind of have to hit up an Irish bar when you are practically on Notre Dame's campus. Cool Irish pub vibe inside, dark wood ,tin tile ceilings, and some big screens with sports on.... More

Service was great as was the proximity to ND campus. We happened to stop in on "Wing Night" which was perfect for my son and husband. They recommend the boneless whiskey glazed wings. I had cod sandwich and chips along with a Harp. Great meal!

After visiting St. Joseph's Hospital and Notre Dame University, we went for a Great corn beef and cabbage lunch at O'Rourke's on St. Patrick's Day.

I eat lunch at O'Rourke's about once a week and have been to dinner there as a couple and with large and small groups of people. I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff and enjoy the atmosphere and food very much. The interior is decorated with all kinds of architectural details reclaimed from old Irish pubs. The... More

We came here after a game on a Friday night, so it was loud and busy, as you might might expect. They seemed to have a nice selection of beers and offered tasting flights of 4 beers each (Irish, Belgian, etc.), perhaps 4 ounces each. We shared the Irish flight to drink with some chicken tenders (beware, the fire-roasted sauce... More

Had dinner & drinks on a Sunday evening. Nice place. Can get a little crowded, but that's to be expected when you're across from ND campus.

This is a great pub right near campus. Food was great! Gotta try the boxty! We went here during a stay for a game and would definitely go back. Nice atmosphere and good service!
