This is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic and somewhat reasonably priced. They have a special room for those that dress casual ;)
After a full day of business meetings several friends and I were seeking a place to eat in the Georgetown area. Rodney's was recommended. When arriving at the restaurant it was a pleasant surprise to see the restaurant located in an historical house. The interior was just delightful, very warm and comfortable. The entire staff was very accommodating, polite, and... More
So we got the name of this place from the front desk at our hotel. It's a house but oh the food was excellent! The aged beef filet was perfect. If the wilted spinach salad with the owner's special dressing is available, order it!
While on a "girlfriend" trip to the races at Keeneland we took my brother here for his 81st birthday. It was wonderful! The lovely house, built by a Civil War General, has been renovated with lovely colors and contemporary art. (Check out the paintings in the restrooms.) My brother, who has lived in Georgetown most of his life, knew quite... More

Our waitress was able to describe in detail the ingredients of the varied dishes and was very attentive without being bothersome. The restaurant is in a... More
What a pleasure it was to dine at Rodneys. Our Cocktails were excellent, the appetizers were fabulous as were our entrées. Our waiter was quite helpful with our food selection and our dinner was perfectly paced Dining in this beautiful old home feels very comfortable and relaxing. We recommend it highly and can't wait to go back.
Passing through and was there when they opened on a Tuesday. First one's in and not expecting a lot, we were surprised. The lamb chops, one the best I ever have had and my wife's steak was a 10. The reviews are correct. In Georgetown, and want a great meal,-Rodney's. Diamond Hill, Ga.
