We had an assortment of pastries that were terrific. Coffee was decent but nothing special.....but the pastries we're melt in your mouth good!
Our last stop, for dessert, on the Cajun Food Tour was the sweetest -- pun intended. Coffee and King Cake, which is the best in the city if not all of LA! We also picked up some French Cream Horns, too. The best I ever ate. Period. Poupart Bakery is a dream come true if you're into fresh baked goods,... More
During a recent visit to Lafayette, I passed by Poupart's and decided to stop in for a look see. The cases are filled with fine pastries and cakes as well as breads. I purchased two beignets, a French Horn, raspberry croissant and a Biscuit stuffed with cheese. A nice selection that came to $10. Definitely on the high end. The... More
My favorite French bakery. Just like the ones in Paris! They are not open on Monday, so plan a visit on Sunday. They have so much to chose from and I usually have bigger eyes than I can eat!
We stopped in one morning and had delicious, fresh baked goods. Selection was enormous, from the sweet to the savory. Packed for travel if you need to carry home. Pricey but delicious.

I was looking for a bakery close to my hotel that served beignets. They were great, but it was the apple tart and other baked goods that set this bakery apart. True Louisiana hospitality and amazing baked goods. The cheesecakes look awesome, unfortunately I had meetings and did have time to partake.
This is an hidden treasure I recommend it to everyone. they're breads and desserts are the best. My husband is from N.Y. and hasn't found anything to compare to they're bakeries until now. I suggest the Cibatta bread. The ladies there are very friendly and helpful. This bakery is two hours from my home but I will make frequent trips!
My husband and i had been here once before when staying overnight in Lafayette. We had tried this place based on the trip advisor reviews and found it to only be okay but we went late in the afternoon. This time we thought we would give it another chance but go earlier in the day for better selection. We were... More
