I love this place. So much that I drove 13 hours and instead of going to my parent's house I drove here first. Outstanding. I live outside of DC and have been to many fabulous restaurants: Jose Andres Minibar, Bryan Voltaggio's restaurants, Scott Drewno of The Source and Mike Isabella's restaurants to name a few. The Lost Kitchen is a... More

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! From start to finish we had a fantastic experience. The menu changes daily as to prepare the freshest local ingredients. You won't find a more upscale restaurant in the area. Save room for dessert and if you like chocolate, you will LOVE the chocolate mousse or the flourless chocolate tart/cake! The restaurant is tastefully decorated... More

Our first dinner at Lost Kitchen was great and we will definitely return. We shared a variety of starters rather than getting appetizers and everything was great. Standouts included the drink special from the bar, two seafood dishes - scallops and Maine shrimp, the dessert fritters and the attentive and knowledgeable server. A real standout in Belfast and the surrounding... More

I was mildly disappointed in my meal at The Lost Kitchen. Although the atmosphere very inviting, I think the food lacked. I ordered duck breast that was more or less raw, and the fat had not been rendered at all. Way too much rosemary in everything from the fries on my friend's steak to the mussels. Keep trying

No need to go to Portland for food with a great restaurant right in Belfast. A creative menu using locally sourced foods, results in a truly delicious meal in an unpretentious atmosphere.

The Lost Kitchen seems to be improving every month. We ate there almost a year ago and whilethe appetizers and dessert were outstanding, the entrees left something to be desired. A way too large, but otherwise naked pork chop and a small halibut filet were good, but not exceptional. Each was adorned with fresh flowers, but no real side dishes... More

We had to postpone my anticipated birthday dinner because of a serious snowstorm on the Maine coast. A week later we finally made the 45-minute trip to Belfast, taking 2 friends with us who had already had a fine dining experience at the Lost Kitchen. It didn't disappoint- from the fig/cheese starter, through the delicious crispy duck with accompanying "interesting"... More

We went to the Lost Kitchen for a pre-fix dinner on NYE. The location, food and decor is amazing. We truly had a fabulous dinner. The staff were great, although we were sort of ignored when we came in as they were busy from their first seating and had to set up for the second seating. We eventually made our... More

Finally a restaurant in the Belfast area worthy of high praise! I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Great restaurants are few and apart around Belfast. The dishes of the Lost kitchen are very creative and delicious like: the scallop crudo, the organic frites with aioli or the Maine scallops served with parsnip puree. The dessert list offers some nice surprises... More

We live in Belfast and are so excited to have a restaurant of this quality in our town. We don't usually rate restaurants but.... we had the pleasure of dining at The Lost Kitchen last night and what a delightful treat it was. Our meals were creative, beautifully prepared and presented and one of the best dinners we have ever... More
